OTIF Tracker

On-time in-full by period.

When to use it

Use it to track delivery performance. Enter orders, on-time, in-full and on-time-in-full counts by period, and it charts OTIF against your target.

What you enter

  • OTIF target (%)
  • One period per line: period, orders, on-time orders, in-full orders, orders both on time and in full

Use ISO months (2026-07). Paste five columns from Excel.

What you get

  • Result
  • OTIF trend
  • Periods

How it works

OTIF % = orders on time and in full ÷ total orders. On-time % and in-full % are shown separately so you can see which one is dragging the result.

How to use the OTIF Tracker

OTIF measures the percentage of orders (or lines) delivered on the agreed date and in the full quantity.

OTIF % = orders delivered on time and in full ÷ total orders × 100.

  1. Enter each order with its promised date, delivered date, quantity ordered and quantity delivered.
  2. The tracker flags orders that are late, short or both.
  3. Record a reason for each miss and use the Pareto of reasons to improve.

Worked example

Of 240 orders in a month, 18 were late and 9 were short (3 were both), so 216 were OTIF: 90%. Most misses came from one supplier's late raw material.
